Chennai, Jan 17 (NationPress) Elated by the remarkable triumph of his film Madha Gaja Raja, which has now achieved blockbuster status, actor Vishal expressed on Friday that this film's accomplishment of becoming a hit should be documented in the annals of cinema history.
During a Thanksgiving gathering organized by the Madha Gaja Raja team, the actor elaborated on various topics.
Reflecting on the event, Vishal shared, “I was overwhelmed with emotion when doctors advised me against attending the pre-release event due to my high fever and shivers. Yet, when I gazed into the mirror, I could only envision director Sundar C’s face. For 12 long years, we discussed this film. Each year, we hoped it would release. I invested my heart and soul into this project, and Sundar C would always reassure me, 'Don't worry, when it releases, it will succeed.'
Vishal went on to assert, “In the context of Indian cinema, Madha Gaja Raja is the first film to have launched after a staggering 12 years and still emerge as a mega blockbuster. This is a significant milestone that deserves recognition. It’s truly remarkable. By the grace of God, audiences are celebrating this film.”
He expressed that it felt as if God was instructing him to wait and collaborate with Sundar C on other projects, saying, “It was like a divine message stating ‘MGR will finally receive its recognition.’ Now, we have a release date with a nine-day holiday window. I am grateful to God.”
