Vivek Agnihotri Feels ‘Fortunate’ to Have Anupam Kher by His Side

Mumbai, Dec 31 (NationPress) Director Vivek Agnihotri, who is actively working on his latest film, ‘The Delhi Files’, has recently shared snapshots featuring renowned actor Anupam Kher.

On Tuesday, the director took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) to unveil a video showcasing nostalgic images of himself alongside his wife, producer Pallavi Joshi, and Anupam Kher. Having collaborated with Anupam in acclaimed films like ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Vaccine War’, he conveyed his appreciation for the unique relationship they share, proclaiming himself fortunate to have the esteemed actor by his side.

In his post, he remarked, “Kher Saab is not only an exceptional actor but also a friend who feels like family. Whether in front of the camera or behind the scenes, your warmth and wisdom render every moment unforgettable. @AnupamPKher, I am truly fortunate to have you with me.”

Speculation is rife that Anupam Kher is poised to join forces with filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri on the anticipated project, ‘The Delhi Files’, which is generating excitement among viewers.

‘The Delhi Files: The Bengal Chapter’ is directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and is co-produced by Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi.

The film commenced production in November, as the director updated his fans about the progress. For this project, Vivek claims to have conducted thorough research, traveling from Kerala to Kolkata and Delhi to gather critical information.

Previously, he visited Gandhi’s Ashram, sharing images from his experience on social media.

He immersed himself in extensive literature, having read over 100 books and more than 200 articles pertaining to the historical events that underpin his film. He and his team traveled across 20 states for research, examining over 7000 research pages and more than 1000 archival articles in addition to the books.

The film is presented by Tej Narayan Agarwal & I Am Buddha productions, and it is scheduled to debut in theaters worldwide on August 15, 2025, coinciding with Independence Day.
