Mumbai, May 26 (NationPress) The renowned former Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh, alongside his actress spouse Geeta Basra, has introduced their own production company, Purple Rose Entertainment, unveiling a fresh chat show titled Who is The Boss.

In a special conversation with IANS, Harbhajan disclosed that the primary inspiration for the show stems from women.

The retired cricket star expressed, "While people recognize the cricketers, their wives often remain in the shadows. These women possess distinct identities and unique life journeys, and that’s the essence we wanted to showcase. This was the genesis of our show’s concept."

When asked about the true authority at home, Geeta commented, "We share responsibilities quite equally."

"I primarily manage the kids—overseeing their daily routines, classes, meals, and addressing household repairs. Harbhajan focuses on financial matters—deciding on purchases and expenditures."

Supporting Geeta’s statement, Harbhajan added, "Indeed, I usually deal with finances, but she also contributes input on household repairs. It's truly a partnership."

When Geeta was asked if their show draws inspiration from The Kapil Sharma Show, she clarified, "Not really; Kapil's program has been established for years and is filled with comedy skits and entertainment. Although our show incorporates fun, it is quite distinct."

Harbhajan elaborated, "Our focus is on revealing the personal facets of public figures. For instance, everyone knows Rohit Sharma as a cricketer, yet few recognize him as an individual or know much about his wife. We aim to unveil their authentic stories—their experiences as a couple and their journey together."

Geeta concluded, "Absolutely! Our show seeks to illuminate the human stories behind celebrities, setting it apart from Kapil's format. However, we aspire for our show to achieve similar popularity and would love to host Kapil as a guest someday!"
