Mumbai, Feb 27 (NationPress) Actress Yami Gautam has shared insights about her husband, director Aditya Dhar’s highly anticipated project, “Durandhar,” featuring Ranveer Singh.

In a candid discussion with IANS, the 'Bala' actress expressed that Aditya is making every effort to deliver a revolutionary cinematic experience. Yami, who is eagerly looking forward to the film's debut, commended the hard work of the entire team involved in the production. Although she did not confirm her participation in Durandhar, Gautam mentioned, “I don’t know yet! But as his wife, I can assure you—this film will be an extraordinary experience. The audience is in for a surprise.”

She further stated, “I have witnessed the dedication he has put into the script and the immense effort from the entire crew. He genuinely cares about his audience, and they are working tirelessly to provide a cinematic journey that is worth every cent and every moment. I am thrilled for the world to experience it.”

“Durandhar” also features Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna in significant roles. The film is set against the backdrop of the early days of R&AW, a period when India's intelligence agencies were just beginning to form and solidify their presence.

Moreover, when questioned about her script selection process, Yami highlighted the significance of forming a personal connection with the narrative. She expressed, “I trust my instincts. I consciously avoid becoming too comfortable with past roles or perceived strengths. I don’t overthink. The initial feeling I have after reading a script—whether it excites or challenges me—guides my choice. I aim to be as versatile as possible while remaining true to my decisions. There’s always a conscious effort behind making something seem effortless. It’s about consistently progressing in a particular direction and embracing roles that stretch my limits.”

On the professional front, Yami recently appeared in the Netflix film 'Dhoom Dhaam' alongside Pratik Gandhi. Directed by Rishab Seth and produced by Aditya and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, the film premiered on February 14.
