Bangalore, Feb 25 (NationPress) The creators of director Geethu Mohandas's 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups', starring the acclaimed Rocking Star Yash, have officially introduced the dapper first look of actor Darrell D'Silva in the role of Salvador.

Yash took to his social media accounts to share the first look poster of Darrell D'Silva, stating, "Presenting Darrell D’Silva as SALVADOR in - A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups. #Toxic In Cinemas Worldwide from 19-03-2026. #ToxicTheMovie #ToxicOnMarch19th."

Director Geethu Mohandas commended Darrell D'Silva's performance, stating, "Mastering Kannada and delivering it with such confidence and fluency is no small feat. Your commitment and discipline are truly commendable. Your vibrant energy on set was contagious, enhancing every scene with your presence and passion. Looking forward to our time together in India @humphrybaudilaire."

The production team has also revealed the first looks of actors Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, and Balaji Manohar.

In the film, Balaji Manohar portrays Bheera, Akshay Oberoi takes on the role of Tony, and Sudev Nair plays Karmadi.

Geethu Mohandas shared her experience of directing Balaji Manohar on her Instagram stories, expressing, "Working with you has been a true delight. I noticed how you remained on set even after completing your shots, eager to absorb the filmmaking process. Such dedication is exceptional. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and thoughtful contributions are always appreciated. You don’t just perform; you invest in the film. Thank you @balajimanoharofficial."

Regarding Sudev, Geethu remarked, "This journey would have been significantly more challenging without the perfect casting of Karmadi. I needed someone who could be a quietly supportive presence, and Sudev made it seem effortless. Having collaborated with him in the past, I was reminded once again of his remarkable talent."

She further explained, "His craft is subtly powerful, and he dedicated himself not only to his role but to the overall journey of our film. He infused every frame with a quiet strength—depth without overt display, emotion without excess—and on set, he led by example. Talent alone doesn’t suffice; good people make the difference. Sudev is here to excel."

The director also expressed her thoughts on working with Akshay.

She shared, "Collaborating with Akshay has been one of those rare experiences that revitalizes my passion for directing actors. His curiosity distinguishes him; he engages with a script actively, probing it in thought-provoking ways. He asks questions not to complicate the work but to enrich it. He seeks to grasp the emotional structure of a scene—what precedes it, what it costs, and what it leaves behind."

As a director, she didn’t need to push him towards authenticity, as he is already on that quest. "Akshay genuinely revels in acting. Even in the most intense and intricate moments, there's a sense of discovery within him. Keep an eye on this talent, as he’s bound to impress!"

The recently released teaser has already generated considerable excitement, amassing over 200 million views in 24 hours, and presenting Yash in a striking, clean-shaven look as ‘Ticket’—prompting numerous theories about a potential dual role.
