I learned from him that your work travels ahead of you, and your character propels it further.” He narrated a life lesson imparted by his grandfather regarding performances in various cities: “Once, I inquired why he returned to Kolkata despite the lack of appreciation for his art there.

He replied, ‘Visit the cities where you are cherished. But don’t shy away from those where you are not appreciated. That’s where genuine learning occurs. That’s where the real challenge lies.’”
