Mumbai, July 27 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Salman Khan is taking a moment to ponder over certain regrets in his life. The acclaimed actor has openly admitted that he has agreed to things in his life that he truly didn’t wish to, and the consequences were not favorable for him.
On Saturday, the actor utilized his Instagram platform to share a reflective image of himself. In the caption, he wrote a heartfelt note regarding a significant life lesson imparted by his father, the renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, who recently shared some wisdom with him.
He stated, “The present becomes your past, the past catches up to your future; the present is a gift, use it wisely. Repeated mistakes become habits, and eventually shape your character. Don’t blame anyone; no one can compel you to do anything against your will (sic).”
“My father conveyed this to me, and it resonates deeply. I wish I had heard this sooner, but it’s never too late,” he added.
Previously, Salman expressed his joy on social media regarding the warm reception newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are receiving from the film community. He shared his happiness and extended his best wishes for their upcoming journeys.
In his Instagram stories, the ‘Sultan’ star showcased a poster of ‘Saiyaara’, which features lead actors Ahaan and Aneet. Along with it, he expressed, “It’s heartening to see the affection these two debutants are garnering from the industry and the nation. I am thrilled for them and their parents, whom I have known since childhood. @ahaanpanday @aneetpadda @mohitsuri.”
For those unfamiliar, Aneet has gained recognition for her role in the streaming series ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, while Ahaan is the son of Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday. Chikki is the sibling of actor Chunky Panday. ‘Saiyaara’ also represents the inaugural collaboration between Yash Raj Films and director Mohit Suri. Mohit Suri had previously expressed his excitement about discovering Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, mentioning that had he not found such promising talent, he would not have proceeded with his film ‘Saiyaara’.
