Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has offered his insights on how to move forward after a breakup, suggesting that one should “Go to the room, cry, then forget about it and come out and say ‘what’s up, how’s it going’.”

During a conversation with his nephew Arhaan Khan on the podcast Dumb Biryani, Salman imparted his wisdom to the younger generation regarding love, career, and family.

“As an uncle providing guidance to my nephew, I believe that if it resonates with him, it will benefit the youth. You should pursue your goals passionately. If there’s something you want to achieve, focus solely on that and go for it,” he advised.

He added, “If you’re experiencing pain, lack of sleep, or feeling unwell, just push through it.”

Salman then addressed the topic of breakups.

“If your girlfriend leaves you, it’s alright. Just say goodbye. When removing a bandaid, you pull it off quickly. Go to your room, cry, then forget it and come out with a smile saying ‘what’s up, how’s it going’,” he explained.

He emphasized that everyone makes mistakes and that it’s essential to apologize sincerely.

“Mistakes are part of life, but repeating them intentionally is not acceptable. When you realize you’ve made a mistake, apologize immediately and genuinely. Expressions of gratitude and regret should come naturally,” he stated.

The actor also discussed his relationship with his father, Salim Khan.

“Every family needs a respected leader, as they want what’s best for you. My father would often say, ‘don’t do that, you’ll regret it.’”

“I used to question how he could be right when I was so wrong, and that was something I had to overcome. If I were to give you advice based on how I talk to myself, you would dislike me because I tend to be quite critical of myself,” he reflected.

Earlier, Salman teased the episode on his Instagram, mentioning, “I spoke to the boys a year ago, and I’m unsure if they remember the advice. My first podcast appearance on @dumbbbiryani will be released soon.”
