Chennai, July 23 (NationPress) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, who is currently hospitalized at Apollo Hospitals after feeling dizzy during a morning walk on Monday, is still actively managing government affairs from his hospital room.
Even while under medical care, the 72-year-old leader has been in touch with senior officials, monitored the progress of crucial welfare programs, and approved significant documents.
Stalin took to social media to reassure the public of his ongoing involvement.
"While in the hospital, I checked in on the #WithYou_Stalin camps via district collectors and the public, in addition to signing various government files. After the rest suggested by doctors, I will be visiting your districts soon to meet you!" he shared in a post on X.
This update serves to calm party members and the public, many of whom have shown concern for his well-being.
Although doctors have advised him to rest for a few more days, the Chief Minister has emphasized that governance should proceed without delay.
As per an official statement, Stalin had discussions with Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam on Tuesday (July 22) and evaluated the ongoing 'Ungaludan Stalin' (#WithYou_Stalin) grievance redressal camps running throughout the districts.
He also connected virtually with district Collectors and the public, reviewing petitions and the execution of various welfare initiatives.
Initiated earlier this month, the ‘With You Stalin’ program aims to enhance the government’s direct interaction with citizens. By July 22, over 5.74 lakh petitions had been received through these camps.
Stalin directed officials to ensure prompt and effective resolution of grievances and to maintain the schedule for the camps, providing sufficient amenities for participants.
During his time in the hospital, Stalin has been signing documents and making administrative decisions. Officials noted that his active participation, even while hospitalized, has uplifted the morale of the bureaucracy and his party members. The Chief Minister’s office stated that once he receives medical clearance, Stalin will resume his district visits to personally oversee the execution of government programs and engage with the public.
