London, March 18 (NationPress) Hyrbyair Marri, a prominent Baloch pro-independence figure, vehemently condemned the recent Pakistani airstrike on a rehabilitation facility in Kabul. He characterized this act as a stark illustration of what he terms Islamabad's "lies and propaganda", despite its claims of being the "self-proclaimed defender" of Islamic nations.

Marri emphasized that Pakistan's expansionist goals and its anti-Afghan policies are major contributors to regional instability, labeling Pakistan as "a cancer upon regional peace".

This condemnation followed a Pakistani airstrike on Monday night that targeted the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital, a 2,000-bed facility located in Kabul's Pul-e-Charkhi area, resulting in numerous fatalities and injuries.

He offered his heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and expressed hopes for the quick recovery of those injured.

Marri stated, "I denounce this atrocious crime against humanity perpetrated by Pakistan. It is an extension of their Punjabi expansionist agenda. The intentional destabilization of Afghanistan through state-sponsored violence, including brutal assaults on innocent civilians and essential infrastructure, must be confronted with unity." He shared these sentiments on the platform X.

He accused Pakistan's military forces of perpetuating anti-Afghan hostility through aerial bombardments and drone strikes while taking advantage of territories that rightfully belong to the Baloch and Pashtun peoples.

According to Marri, "This unlawful occupation has been the root cause of instability in Afghanistan, instigated by Pakistan. We firmly believe that true peace in Afghanistan can only be realized when these occupying forces are ejected from our lands, seas, and airspace."

Reiterating the steadfast support of the Baloch people for Afghanistan, Marri said, "We stand united against the aggression of the Pakistani Punjabis. A future characterized by peace and prosperity lies in collaboration between our two nations. A sovereign and united Balochistan will ensure that our ports become gateways for opportunity, facilitating Afghan trade and providing access to regional and global markets, including those in Central Asia and Europe."

He further claimed that Pakistan has consistently shown a lack of genuine interest in fostering peaceful relations with Afghanistan, irrespective of the governing body in Kabul.

Marri urged for solidarity between Balochistan and Afghanistan to defend their territories and reinforce their mutual connections. "This is a pivotal moment. Both nations must unite to safeguard our lands, protect our economic interests, preserve our shared cultural heritage, and strengthen our bonds of brotherhood. Through collaboration and resolve, we can confront and overcome the forces that threaten our sovereignty and regional stability," he concluded.
