Cabinet Reshuffle by Canadian Prime Minister

Ottawa, Dec 21 (NationPress) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has revealed modifications to his cabinet.
As per a list released by the prime minister's office, eight new ministers have been appointed and four ministers have had their roles adjusted.
Following these changes, the cabinet comprises a total of 38 ministers, alongside the Prime Minister, maintaining an equal representation of women and men, consistent with the precedent established in 2015, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
This cabinet shuffle comes shortly after the resignation of former deputy prime minister and finance minister Chrystia Freeland. Since July, nine ministers have declared their resignation or withdrawal from the upcoming federal election.
The newly formed cabinet aims to focus on key issues that are essential to Canadians, which include making life more affordable and stimulating economic growth, according to Trudeau's news release.
The team is committed to advancing initiatives in housing, child care, and school food, while striving to increase financial support for citizens, the Prime Minister emphasized.
On Friday, Jagmeet Singh, leader of the New Democratic Party, shared an open letter with Canadians via social media, announcing that his party plans to introduce a motion of non-confidence aimed at dismantling Trudeau's government during the next session of the House of Commons, scheduled to commence on January 27.
During the holiday season, it is anticipated that the Prime Minister will contemplate his future as the leader of the Liberal Party.
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, whose party seems poised to secure a significant majority in the event of an imminent election, expressed on Friday his intention to request the Governor General to swiftly reconvene parliament, allowing lawmakers to vote on the government's future without delay.
