The injured individuals have been rushed to nearby medical facilities, as reported by Babak Yektaparast, the spokesman for the country's Emergency Medical Services Organisation, citing the semi-official Fars news agency.
Yektaparast mentioned that 90 hospital beds in Shiraz, the capital of the adjacent Fars province, have been prepared for the possible hospitalization of additional victims.
According to the Chinese Consulate General in Bandar Abbas, three Chinese nationals suffered minor injuries but are currently in stable condition following medical attention.
