New Delhi, April 23 (NationPress) A coalition of Muslim countries and organizations has come together to denounce and reject terrorism in all its forms following the atrocious attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The Muslim World League (MWL), headquartered in Saudi Arabia, expressed its sympathies to the families affected by this brutal act and wished for a speedy recovery for those injured.

MWL Secretary General Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jeddah during his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, where he condemned the horrifying act and extended his deepest condolences for the innocent lives lost.

The Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry also issued a strong condemnation of the attack.

"The Kingdom emphasizes its unwavering position against all forms of violence, extremism, and targeting of civilians. We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of India," the ministry stated.

Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed full solidarity with the "friendly nation" of India.

Official spokesperson Ambassador Sufyan Al-Qudah reiterated the Kingdom's rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability.

The Taliban regime in Afghanistan also condemned the terror attack, stating that such incidents jeopardize regional security.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan firmly condemns the attack on tourists in Pahalgam and expresses condolences to the grieving families. Such incidents undermine efforts aimed at ensuring regional security and stability,” remarked the Ministry’s spokesperson.

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi also condemned the attack, extending condolences to the people and government of India.

"Iran unequivocally condemns the terrorist attack against tourists in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the people and government of India," he posted on X.

The President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, sent a message of condolences to both President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Modi regarding the tragic terrorist act in Jammu and Kashmir.

"The devastating news of the loss of lives and the injuring of a significant number of people in the Jammu and Kashmir terrorist attack has filled us with profound sorrow and concern. We categorically condemn this cruel act of criminality and reaffirm Tajikistan’s commitment to strengthening the collective battle against all forms of terrorism and extremism. I extend my heartfelt condolences to you, the families of the victims, and to the entire people of friendly India. I wish a complete recovery to those injured," stated Rahmon.
