The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, sent his best regards to the people of India on this special day, emphasizing that Cyprus treasures its lasting partnership, shared democratic values, and the ongoing strengthening of ties with India.

In a post shared on X, Christodoulides expressed, "Warmest congratulations to my dearest friend PM Narendra Modi and the people of India on Republic Day. Cyprus deeply values our enduring friendship, our shared democratic values, and our steadily strengthening partnership. I am looking forward to visiting India in May."
