Aden, June 25 (NationPress) The Houthi group of Yemen has declared its intention to persist with military actions against Israel, just hours following a ceasefire announcement made by US President Donald Trump regarding Iran and Israel.
This declaration was shared in a succinct statement on the social media platform X by Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Houthi political bureau, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
Al-Bukhaiti stated in his post, "The acceptance by America and the Zionist entity of a ceasefire with Iran highlights that military force is the only communication they comprehend."
The Houthi representative underscored that the group's military endeavors against Israel will "continue until the aggression towards Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted."
On June 13, Israel initiated significant airstrikes across various locations in Iran, targeting nuclear and military installations, resulting in the deaths of senior commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians. In retaliation, Iran executed multiple waves of missile and drone strikes on Israel, causing numerous casualties and extensive damage.
On Saturday, the US Air Force struck three Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. In response, Iran targeted the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with missiles.
Following Iran's attack, US President Donald Trump proclaimed that a ceasefire would commence around 0400 GMT Tuesday. Both Iran and Israel subsequently confirmed the initiation of the ceasefire.
