Riyadh, June 4 (NationPress) Indian Haj pilgrims are receiving support from 'Team India' officials as they commence their journey from Mecca to Mina, signaling the initiation of the Five-Day Core Haj Period in Saudi Arabia.
The team is working closely with Saudi Authorities to ensure a hassle-free journey for all pilgrims, emphasizing India's dedication to safeguarding the welfare of its citizens.
"The movement of Haj pilgrims to Mina has begun today! 'Team India' officials are on hand to assist Indian Haj pilgrims in utilizing transport services effectively to reach their designated camps in Mina," the Indian Haj Pilgrims office announced on X on Wednesday.

Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju extended his best wishes to the Indian pilgrims undertaking Haj and ensuring their assistance as they embark on their journey to Mina.
"My sincere wishes to all Indian pilgrims performing Haj this year. Our Haj Mission, led by dedicated officials and teams, is fully prepared in coordination with Saudi authorities. Administrative and medical teams will be present at all Mina camps. For any support, please utilize the Haj Suvidha App or the toll-free numbers. Earlier this week, India's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Ajaz Khan, reached out to the Indian Haj pilgrims ahead of the core rituals.

Meanwhile, India's Consul General in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, led a briefing on arrangements for medical care and assistance in the Mashaer Region (including the Tent city of Mina and the plains of Muzdalifah & Arafat) for Indian Haj Pilgrims.
