Jordan Dispatches a 50-Truck Humanitarian Aid Convoy to Gaza

Amman, December 1 (NationPress) The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization has initiated a new humanitarian aid effort by sending a convoy to the Gaza Strip in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces and the World Food Programme.

This convoy is made up of 50 trucks filled with food, medical supplies, and other vital necessities, which will be handed over to the appropriate authorities in Gaza for distribution to those in dire need, as stated by the organization in a press release on Saturday, according to reports from Xinhua.

Hussein Shibli, the secretary-general of the organization, emphasized that Jordan will consistently be at the forefront in offering support to the people in Gaza.

Shibli also pointed out that up to this point, Jordan has sent a total of 4,326 trucks of aid to Gaza, along with 53 planes through Egypt's El-Arish Airport. Furthermore, there have been 390 airdrops, including 124 by Jordan itself, 266 in collaboration with other nations, and 8 helicopter aid missions.
