Libreville, May 6 (NationPress) - The Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema has formed a new 30-member government, which is headed by Alexandre Barro Chambrier, who takes on the role of Vice-President. This reshuffle is part of a broader governmental transition.
As per the decree issued by the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Guy Rossatanga Rignault, the newly appointed government includes three ministers of state.
Henri Claude Oyima, the head of the BGFIBANK group, has been designated as the minister of state responsible for the economy, budget, public accounts, debt management, and tackling the escalating cost of living, according to reports from Xinhua news agency.
Ulrich Manfoumbi Manfoumbi, the former spokesperson for the Committee for Transition and Restoration of Institutions—which oversaw the nation during its transitional phase—has been appointed as the minister of state for transport and the merchant marine.
