Quetta, Sep 21 (NationPress) A minimum of five Baloch civilians have been extrajudicially killed by Pakistani forces in Balochistan, as the ongoing pattern of persecution continues throughout the province, according to a prominent human rights organization. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) reported that the mutilated remains of Ustad Allah Dad, a resident of the Soler Ghichk area in Panjgur, were discovered on the night of September 20 after four days of unlawful detention.

The BYC revealed that Allah Dad was forcibly taken by Pakistani forces in the Naag region of Washuk district on September 16.

"The remains displayed evident signs of extreme physical torture and cruel treatment, indicating he endured severe punishment before his death," the rights organization noted.

Additionally, the BYC reported that on September 19, another Baloch civilian, Tariq Hamza, was killed in a staged encounter along with three other individuals who had previously been forcibly disappeared, including Abdul Sattar, in the Dasht area of Kech district.

According to the organization, Tariq, who lived in Dasht Sholeeg of Gwadar district, was forcibly taken by Pakistani troops on November 12, 2024. After his abduction, his family persistently sought information about him, but they received no response.

"His remains showed clear evidence of extensive physical torture followed by gunshot wounds. His body, along with three other victims, was taken to Civil Hospital Turbat by Frontier Corps personnel," the organization stated.

In response to the brutal extrajudicial killing of Allah Dad, Paank, the human rights department of the Baloch National Movement, condemned the act, stating that the discovery of his severely tortured body, callously disposed of in Panjgur, exemplifies the ongoing state-sponsored terror, enforced disappearances, and systematic genocide targeting the Baloch population.

The rights organization demanded an immediate halt to these barbaric practices by the Pakistani government, calling for a comprehensive and impartial investigation into this atrocity, swift prosecution of the perpetrators, and an end to the culture of impunity that allows such violations to persist.

It further urged the international community to hold Pakistan accountable for these serious human rights violations and to support the Baloch quest for justice and dignity.
