New Delhi, Oct 14 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Tuesday.

The two dignitaries exchanged cordial greetings and proceeded to plant a sapling together before commencing their discussions.

Earlier that day, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa honored Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.

"Together for a peace-loving and harmonious world. President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa of Mongolia paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat this morning," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) shared on X.

President Ukhnaa arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a four-day State Visit to India, where he was received by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, Murlidhar Mohol.

According to Jaiswal, President Ukhnaa was given a Guard of Honour and a ceremonial welcome upon his arrival at the airport. This marks Ukhnaa's inaugural visit to India since taking office.
