Kabul, Oct 6 (NationPress) Authorities have uncovered and confiscated almost 400 firearms and military gear in a series of operations across Helmand province in southern Afghanistan over the last five months, according to provincial police spokesperson Mullah Ezatullah Haqqani.
The seized weaponry comprises 41 Kalashnikov stocks, 188 pistols, one RPG-7, two M16 stocks, and over 170 other arms, alongside thousands of rounds of ammunition and projectiles. These items were confiscated in the provincial capital Lashkar Gah and nearby districts, the official reported.
