Syrian Fighters Remove Curfew in Damascus, Encourage Citizens to Return to Work

Damascus, Dec 11 (NationPress) Syria's Military Operations Administration announced on Wednesday that it has removed the curfew that was enforced on Damascus and its neighboring regions, urging residents to resume their daily routines and return to their jobs.

The administration, in its announcement, motivated citizens to participate in the reconstruction of the new Syria as the nation strives to restore normalcy following the recent downfall of Bashar al-Assad's regime.

The curfew's removal coincided with Mohammed al-Bashir's declaration on Tuesday, wherein he revealed that he has been appointed to lead a transitional government in Syria until March 2025, according to reports from Xinhua news agency.

A coalition of militants spearheaded by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham has launched a significant offensive from northern Syria starting November 27 and has rapidly advanced southward through areas controlled by the government, ultimately taking control of the capital city of Damascus in just 12 days.
