Washington, Jan 21 (NationPress) President Donald Trump intends to utilize the US oil reserves as a strategic tool to assert its influence and prevent both allies and adversaries from "pushing it around".

"We're not going to allow any nations, whether friendly or unfriendly, to dictate terms to us economically because we possess something unique," he stated on Monday.

"We have a resource that others lack -- liquid gold beneath our feet, unparalleled by any other nation," he remarked regarding the strength derived from his energy policies.

He emphasized the importance of tapping into the vast petroleum and gas reserves of the US as a crucial element of his campaign, aiming to lower prices and bolster US authority on the global stage.

Trump addressed military personnel at the Commander in Chief’s Ball, celebrating his inauguration as president.

He assured them of a stronger military, asserting that success would come from winning without engaging in conflicts, showcasing the country's strength instead.

"Through our power and might, we will steer the world towards peace. Our allies will respect us, our adversaries will fear us, and the entire globe will acknowledge the unmatched greatness of the United States military," he continued.

"Our success will be measured not merely by our victories in battles, but also by the wars we conclude, and crucially, the wars we avoid entirely," he explained.

"This is termed Peace through strength," he added.

"We can achieve total victory without engaging in the worst, as long as we can do so without conflict," he asserted.

Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance enjoyed a dance with their spouses, followed by two women soldiers joining them, while the ladies danced with two male soldiers, as the assembled troops, including a unit from South Korea participating via video link, cheered.

This ball and two others concluded the extensive inauguration celebrations for the president.

During the Liberty Ball, Vance remarked that their electoral victory was undeniable – a nod to the contested 2020 election, which Trump has repeatedly claimed was stolen.

Trump expressed that the populace was "longing for common sense" and that his presidency would restore it.

He further stated that men should no longer compete in women’s sports and that gender reassignment surgeries would be halted.

Country singer Jason Aldean, rapper Nelly, and the Village People entertained attendees at the ball.

Trump’s day, which commenced with a church service, was set to conclude with the Starlight Ball before he returns to the White House.
