Washington, March 12, (NationPress) President Donald Trump asserted that US military initiatives targeting Iran would facilitate a reduction in global oil prices. Speaking to supporters in Kentucky, he emphasized that a synchronized release of emergency crude reserves, paired with ongoing pressure on Tehran, would aid in stabilizing energy markets.

During an event in Hebron, Kentucky, on Wednesday (local time), Trump defended the current US military operations against Iran. He stated that the United States would persist with these actions until all objectives are met.

Trump declared that the US is undertaking significant measures to neutralize the threats posed by Iran's regime through what he termed Operation Epic Fury, which he claimed has seen considerable success.

He informed the audience that, in the last 11 days, US forces had dealt substantial damage to Iran's military assets. According to Trump, "our military has effectively dismantled Iran."

He stated that Iran's air force was "completely eliminated," asserting that the nation no longer possesses operational radar or anti-aircraft systems. Furthermore, he claimed that Iran's missile capabilities are "down by 90 percent," and its drone technology is "down by 85 percent."

Trump remarked, "We're destroying the factories where these weapons are produced at an unprecedented rate, and frankly, no one has witnessed anything like this before."

The President also referenced previous US actions aimed at undermining Iran's nuclear ambitions, asserting that the military had "fully eradicated Iran's nuclear potential."

He maintained that this military campaign is essential to avert future threats and insisted that the United States would not halt its operations prematurely.

"We will not depart until our mission is accomplished," he stated.

In addition to the military assertions, Trump indicated that measures are being taken to safeguard global energy markets from disruptions resulting from the ongoing conflict.

He informed attendees that the International Energy Agency had reached an agreement earlier that day to orchestrate the release of "a historic 400 million barrels of oil from various national reserves globally."

Trump claimed that this strategic release would "significantly lower oil prices."

He also elaborated on military operations targeting Iranian naval assets, mentioning that US forces had engaged ships involved in laying naval mines.

"We have incapacitated 58 naval ships," he noted, adding that the US had also "destroyed 31 vessels" used for mine placement in regional waters.

He asserted that the military operation had advanced swiftly, claiming that Iran's military infrastructure had suffered extensive degradation in a condensed timeframe.

"No one has ever witnessed anything like what you are currently seeing," he said.

Trump concluded by stating that the United States is also focused on maintaining energy supply continuity despite the conflict.

"We are committed to ensuring the oil continues to flow," Trump reiterated, emphasizing that the military operation would persist until its goals were fully realized.
