Moscow, Nov 30 (NationPress) Two civilians lost their lives and two others sustained injuries following Ukrainian drone strikes on Russia's border region of Belgorod, as reported by local authorities on Sunday.
In the village of Beryozovka located in the Borisovsky district, a drone impacted a vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two men at the scene, according to the regional operational headquarters.
Another drone explosion occurred in the Grayvoron district, injuring a man who was hospitalized in critical condition due to multiple shrapnel wounds. Additionally, a woman suffering from facial burns was also admitted to the hospital, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
Authorities mentioned that five municipalities experienced drone attacks, leading to damage to private homes, vehicles, and outbuildings.
The Russian Defence Ministry stated earlier today that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down 230 UAVs over the past 24 hours.
