Gyeongju (South Korea), Oct 28 (NationPress) Leaders from around the globe and their delegations began their arrivals on Tuesday in Gyeongju, a city in the southeastern region of South Korea, in preparation for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit scheduled to take place in just three days.

In response to the anticipated influx of dignitaries, security measures have been escalated to the highest level throughout the city, particularly in and around the Bomun Tourist Complex, which will serve as the venue for the summit and accommodation for numerous leaders.
