Indore, July 9 (NationPress) The BJP-led state government has finalized its arrangements for the 'Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave', scheduled for July 11 at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore, according to government officials on Wednesday.
Over 1,500 industrialists, along with representatives from the real estate, hotel, and tourism sectors, as well as investors nationwide, have been invited to attend this significant conclave, as stated by the government.
Confirmed participants include the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI), representatives from the hotel and tourism industries, municipal corporations, the International Development Association, Smart City initiatives, Metro, the Housing and Urban Development Corporation, Life Insurance Corporation of India, and the Housing Board, indicating a broad spectrum of involvement in the event, according to the government's announcement.
The investment focus will cover areas such as urban transport (including Metro, e-bus, and multimodal hubs), affordable housing, slum redevelopment, waste management (both solid and liquid), water supply, sewage networks, lake conservation, digitization, e-governance, building approval systems, clean energy, green buildings, and renewable infrastructure.
A major exhibition will take place during the conclave, showcasing various plans and projects.
The government emphasized, "This conclave represents a pivotal step towards urban development in the state. It will open new investment avenues for Indore and Madhya Pradesh."
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, serving as the chief guest, will engage with investors from the hotel, tourism, real estate, and infrastructure sectors, highlighting the potential and investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the government, "There exists substantial investment potential in the housing domain within the state. Over 8.32 lakh affordable homes have been constructed under the affordable housing scheme, with 10 lakh new homes currently being built, representing an investment of Rs 50,000 crore."
The statement further noted that a skilled workforce is available in the state to implement real estate policies.
Currently, 17,230 schemes related to essential services are being executed in urban regions of the state.
Additionally, the operation of 552 electric buses will commence in major cities, and the Electric Vehicle Policy-2025 has been implemented to promote electric vehicles.
