Chennai, Jan 25 (NationPress) In anticipation of the Republic Day 2026 festivities, M. K. Stalin has announced the awarding of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Intelligence and the Chief Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Special Operations to 44 personnel for their exemplary service.

As per an official release, these prestigious awards will be given to 43 police officers and personnel from various divisions of the State police, along with one assistant from the Special Branch of the Intelligence Unit. The medals honor remarkable contributions in areas such as intelligence gathering, operational strategy, and the execution of sensitive and high-risk missions essential for preserving internal security and public safety.

The Chief Minister’s Medals were established to acknowledge outstanding service rendered under challenging conditions.
