What the CEO Said
ATGL Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Pandita said the company delivered strong performance in Q2 with volumes growing 12 per cent and revenue rising 34 per cent, 'supported by sustained CNG demand and deeper PNG penetration.' He noted the performance was achieved despite a challenging operating environment marked by the continuation of the West Asia crisis, elevated Brent and spot gas prices, currency depreciation, and a reduction in APM allocation.
New Business Expansion
Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Ltd expanded its electric vehicle charging footprint to 5,513 installed EV charge points across 26 states and Union Territories and 225 cities, with an installed capacity of approximately 63 MW and 4,809 charge points operational. Meanwhile, Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Ltd sold 460 metric tonnes of compressed biogas (CBG) in H1 FY27, including 195 tonnes through dedicated CBG stations. Organic manure sales crossed 6,865 tonnes, with 1,757 tonnes sold under the Harit Amrit brand.
ESG and Sustainability Scores
On the sustainability front, ATGL's NSE Sustainability score improved to 75, and the Stakeholders Empowerment Services (SES) score also rose to 75 out of 100. The improvement reflects the company's broader push to integrate environmental, social, and governance metrics into its operations alongside financial growth. With CNG network expansion ongoing and the EV charging infrastructure scaling rapidly, ATGL is positioning itself as a multi-energy utility ahead of the remainder of FY27.
