New Delhi, June 19 (NationPress) - Union Home Minister Amit Shah has conveyed a significant message regarding Hindi and other Indian languages, emphasizing that they are the essence of our cultural identity, historical heritage, and civilizational knowledge, stated BJP leader Amit Malviya on Thursday.

Malviya, who oversees the BJP’s National Information and Technology Department, shared on X, “Indian languages represent the heart of our cultural identity — Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.”

He highlighted that in a compelling statement, Shri @AmitShahJi accentuated the need to promote Indian languages, describing them as not merely a means of communication but as a treasure trove of our historical and cultural wisdom.

Malviya expressed optimism that embracing and empowering our native languages will not only safeguard India’s cultural heritage but also elevate its global stature by 2047, the centenary of our independence. “It’s time to think, communicate, and innovate in our own languages — genuine Atmanirbharta commences with Bhasha,” he posted on X.

Previously, on Hindi Diwas, celebrated on September 14 last year, the Home Minister remarked that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guidance, substantial efforts have been made over the past decade to fortify Hindi and regional languages.

Malviya noted, “Modi ji has confidently addressed numerous international platforms in Hindi, highlighting its significance not just in India but worldwide. Moreover, PM Modi has fostered a renewed sense of pride in our languages within the nation.”

The Prime Minister has revitalized all Indian languages and Hindi by prioritizing primary education in the mother tongue through the new education policy, Malviya stated.

HM Shah emphasized that Hindi serves as a companion to all Indian languages. “Whether it’s Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, or Bangla, each language reinforces Hindi, and Hindi reciprocally strengthens every language,” he affirmed.

The Union Home Minister noted that if we examine the Hindi movement closely, prominent figures such as Rajagopalachari ji, Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lala Lajpat Rai, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and Acharya Kriplani hailed from non-Hindi speaking regions.
