Amaravati, Dec 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Koneru Humpy for securing the bronze medal at the FIDE World Rapid Championships on Monday.

A bronze medal on this grand stage signifies remarkable excellence. Your journey and the pride you instill in India serve as a beacon of inspiration for millions,” the Chief Minister shared on X.
He also extended his congratulations to Arjun Erigaisi for clinching a bronze medal at the same championship. “His achievement marks him as the only Indian male player to reach this milestone since Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand. Hailing from Telangana, Arjun has contributed another proud chapter to India's rich chess heritage,” CM Naidu remarked.
The Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy, Home Minister V. Anitha, Roads and Buildings Minister B. C. Janardhan Reddy, and the Chairman of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) A. Ravi Naidu also joined in congratulating Koneru Humpy.
