“The Indian Armed Forces are completely prepared for Operation Sindoor 2.0. With three close comrades (Air Marshal AP Singh, Naval Chief Tripathi, and Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi) at the helm, we cannot be defeated,” the Army Chief stated.
Regarding Pakistan-sponsored terrorism within India, he emphasized that Operation Sindoor will cease at an appropriate juncture.
“We stand ready for Operation Sindoor 2.0 and if Pakistan engages in any cowardly actions, we will deliver a strong response,” he affirmed during his visit to Sainik School located in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa district.
Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, who was a contemporary of General Dwivedi at Sainik School, also participated in an event celebrating 'Unity Day'.
Recalling his days at Sainik School, General Dwivedi mentioned to IANS, “Every time I return here, I feel like a young child again, reminiscent of my first day at this institution. Though many things have changed, the determination and commitment to serve our nation remain unchanged.”
In the meantime, Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, visiting Rewa Sainik School for the first time since becoming Chief of Naval Staff, shared fond memories from his school days.
“I urge students and young individuals to work diligently and leave the results to the Almighty. There are no shortcuts to success,” Admiral Tripathi advised IANS.
It is noteworthy that Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi and Admiral Dinesh Tripathi, who were classmates in the early 1970s, now lead the Indian Army and Navy, respectively.
Their extraordinary journey from schoolmates to service chiefs exemplifies their dedication and the training they received.
Back in the 1970s, Upendra Dwivedi and Dinesh Tripathi were both in class 5A at Sainik School Rewa, holding roll numbers 931 and 938, respectively.
This institution, founded to prepare young boys for entrance into the National Defence Academy (NDA), boasts a proud legacy of developing future military leaders.
