Arun Sawant of Shiv Sena Comments on Ajit Pawar's Legal Relief: A Judicial Decision Rooted in Law

New Delhi, Dec 7 (NationPress) Arun Sawant, the spokesperson for Shiv Sena, made a notable remark on Saturday regarding the forthcoming expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet. He also conveyed his perspective on the relief provided to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

In a detailed discussion with IANS, the Shiv Sena leader indicated that the cabinet's expansion in the state is set to occur shortly, with only experienced and capable legislators being considered for inclusion. He emphasized that this expansion is expected to be finalized before the upcoming Nagpur session.

According to Sawant, the cabinet expansion will take place soon, coinciding with the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected legislators. He anticipates that by next Wednesday, the cabinet expansion will be concluded.

The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Ministers, and other prominent leaders will engage in discussions to appoint suitable legislators to the cabinet, he stated, adding that those possessing knowledge, a solid track record, a clean reputation, and commendable character will be prioritized.

He acknowledged that while some individuals may welcome the cabinet appointments, others might express dissatisfaction. Nevertheless, he maintained that the primary focus remains on the development of the state.

Regarding the relief granted to Ajit Pawar by the Prevention of Benami Property Transactions Appellate Tribunal, Sawant remarked that the judiciary's role is to make determinations based on legal documentation and statutory laws. He clarified that neither he nor anyone else can intervene in this matter, as the court rendered its decision within its jurisdiction.

In a pointed critique of Sanjay Raut and his associates, Sawant expressed discontent over their preoccupation with allegations. He asserted that instead of concentrating on the advancement of Mumbai and Maharashtra, they are consumed by political maneuvering. He noted that the public is weary of such politics and is eager for progress in their businesses as well as the overall development of Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Sawant concluded by stating that the fundamental requirement of the people is to see an enhancement in their daily lives and progress in Mumbai and Maharashtra, which will remain the core priorities of the government.
