Parnaik (Retd.), stated on Friday that even with its international borders adjoining three nations, the state has successfully remained free from terrorism, a notable distinction compared to several other regions in the Northeast.
Arunachal Pradesh has a 1,080-km boundary with China, 520 km with Myanmar, and 217 km with Bhutan.
During his address at an event held at Vivekananda Hall, Raj Bhavan, the Governor expressed pride in the deep-rooted patriotism of the Arunachali people, who greet each other with the enthusiastic phrase ‘Jai Hind’.
He reminisced about the significant support provided by the state's residents to the Indian Armed Forces during the 1962 conflict, underscoring their bravery and dedication to the nation.
At the event, Lt.
