Ayodhya, Oct 29 (NationPress) With the Samajwadi Party unveiling its roster of 20 prominent campaigners for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, party MP Awadhesh Prasad has disclosed the specific constituencies he will be focusing on.
In an interview with IANS, Awadhesh Prasad remarked: "Bihar's elections will take place in two stages. I have been designated as a star campaigner for the Samajwadi Party, working under the leadership of our esteemed national President."
“I will be actively campaigning in the regions of Sheikhpura, Lakhisarai, and Nawada, in addition to the Gaya constituencies, which include Imamganj and Balaganj. Earlier today, I connected with our local party members there to provide them with essential instructions and support,” he elaborated.
On October 24, the Samajwadi Party disclosed the names of its 20 star campaigners who will participate in the two-phase Bihar Assembly elections. Among those featured are SP national President Akhilesh Yadav and national General Secretary Azam Khan.
Interestingly, the campaign roster does not include Akhilesh Yadav’s uncles, Shivpal Yadav and Ram Gopal Yadav.
The star campaigner lineup also features SP MPs Dimple Yadav, Afzal Ansari, Awadhesh Prasad, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Naresh Uttam Patel, Ramashankar Rajbhar, Lalji Verma, Chotelal Kharwar, Rajeev Rai, Sanatan Pandey, Iqra Hasan, Priya Saroj, and Laxmikant Nishad, also known as Pappu Nishad.
Also joining the campaign team are SP national Vice President Kiranmoy Nanda, MLA Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, MLA Om Prakash Singh, SP’s cultural front national President Kashinath Yadav, and state President Dharmendra Solanki.
The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases—on November 6 and 11, with the counting of votes scheduled for November 14.
The first phase will see polling in 121 constituencies, while the second phase will cover 122 constituencies.
