The deceased electricians, identified as Devidas (56) and Vivek (32), both hailed from Seetharambagh in Asifnagar.
Reportedly, the flat owner, Diwakar Prasad, enlisted the help of Devidas and Vivek for maintenance work in his third-floor apartment.
While the electricians were performing their tasks, Diwakar Prasad was on the balcony when the slab unexpectedly collapsed, leading to all three individuals falling to the ground and suffering injuries.
Unfortunately, Devidas and Vivek succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while Prasad was swiftly transported to a hospital, where he is currently in critical condition.
The bodies of Devidas and Vivek have been sent to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Authorities have initiated a case and are conducting further investigations.
In a separate incident in Telangana's Khammam district, a 70-year-old man was found dead from hanging.
Police revealed that this incident occurred in Yerrupalem, with the hanging leading to decapitation.
The victim, identified as Venkatrami Reddy (70), was a resident of Banigandlapadu village in Yerrupalem mandal. He leaves behind a wife and a daughter.
Initial police investigations suggest that he may have taken this drastic measure due to financial distress.
Additionally, in another case, a couple and their child suffered severe burn injuries when a motorcycle ignited while fuel was being added at a gas station in a village in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh.
This incident took place in Gonabavi village, Gummagatta mandal, and the child's condition remains critical.
