Patna, Jan 31 (NationPress) Three individuals lost their lives and another person sustained serious injuries due to a bike collision in the Aurangabad district of Bihar on Thursday.

The tragic incident took place near the Pratappur intersection in the Bandeya police station jurisdiction of Goh block.

As per police reports, three young men were riding on one bike heading towards a nearby market when a fast-moving motorcycle collided with them head-on.

The victims have been identified as Aditya Kumar (18) from Buxar village, Bandeya police station area, Beche Jagan (30) from Simrahui village, Fesar police station area, and Sanjay Kumar from Paanti village, also in the Fesar police station area.

The injured individual is Pawan Kumar (19), who hails from Simrahui village within the Fesar police station jurisdiction.

Upon receiving the alert, police swiftly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured to the hospital.

The injured party was first taken to the Goh Primary Health Centre, where doctors referred him to Magadh Medical College in Gaya for advanced care.

“We have notified the families of the victims. The deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations,” stated an official spokesperson from Aurangabad Police.

Family members of the victims were observed mourning deeply upon hearing the news.

This incident has instilled fear in the local community, prompting authorities to encourage commuters to adhere strictly to traffic regulations to avert such occurrences.

Earlier on the same day, a bus-truck crash on National Highway 31 in Bihar’s Purnea district resulted in two fatalities and around a dozen injuries.

The accident happened between Hijla and Dighi Bridge under the Baisi police station area when a bus traveling from Patna to Kishanganj collided head-on with a bamboo-laden truck speeding from the opposite direction. The collision caused severe damage to both vehicles.
