In a conversation with IANS, Manjhi stated, “The arrival of Prime Minister Modi in Bihar is nothing short of a positive omen. His visit coincides with the ongoing election preparations. He will engage with the residents of the state, and they should embrace this occasion warmly.”
Regarding the Opposition, the Union Minister pointed out a noticeable division within the INDIA bloc.
“There’s a clear fracturing within the coalition. Members are preoccupied with internal conflicts. How can we expect Bihar to progress under such circumstances? Many candidates within their ranks are tainted with serious allegations. Can individuals embroiled in such controversies foster development? Absolutely not,” he remarked.
On the status of the NDA, Manjhi affirmed that unity prevails within the coalition.
“All is well in our camp. If anyone has grievances, they are welcome to voice them. Our shared objective is to propel Bihar’s advancement,” he conveyed to IANS.
In response to inquiries from Mahagathbandhan leaders regarding the NDA's leadership, Manjhi clarified, “I want to emphasize that all matters within the NDA have been settled. We are contesting the elections under the guidance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. I am confident that the people of Bihar recognize Nitish Kumar as our chief ministerial candidate. There should be no uncertainty on this front.”
He further dismissed any claims of dissent within the coalition.
“Even if minor discontent exists among a few, our Prime Minister is very open-minded and promotes transparent discussions to address concerns,” he added.
Manjhi expressed his belief in the NDA's resurgence, highlighting its dedication to development and public welfare.
“Given the current climate in Bihar and the sentiments of the populace, it is evident that our government will be reinstated. The NDA has consistently prioritized the welfare of the people and worked towards their development. Based on this, we are paving the way for another victory in Bihar,” he concluded.
