Patna, Oct 11 (NationPress) The working president of Janata Dal United (JD-U), Sanjay Kumar Jha, publicly condemned RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for his recent pledge to provide one government job to every family in Bihar, labeling it a desperate move to reclaim political power.
During a press interaction at Patna Airport, Jha remarked, “When the RJD held power for 15 years, what actions did they take? How many jobs did they genuinely create? Does Tejashwi have any concrete data to present? His claims reflect nothing but desperation.”
Further mocking the RJD leader, Jha remarked, “Consider the current climate — jobs were promised but land was confiscated, and the matter remains tangled in legal proceedings. The youth of Bihar trust Nitish Kumar’s leadership.”
In response to rumors of several JD-U members moving to the RJD, Jha commented, “Such occurrences are common in election seasons. Some individuals seek nominations, but this election revolves around Nitish Kumar, and we are confident of our victory.”
Jha, who also holds the position of acting national president of the JD-U, departed for Delhi later that day to participate in an NDA meeting.
He is expected to confer with BJP leaders to finalize the seat allocation strategy and deliberate on other significant election-related issues.
“The public stands firmly with Nitish Kumar,” Jha asserted, noting that the NDA’s seat-sharing strategy will be revealed shortly, providing clarity on the alliance’s approach ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.
Tejashwi Yadav declared on Thursday (October 9) that should his party come to power after the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections, every family in the state would have at least one member secured with a government job, regardless of caste, community, or age.
“This initiative is practical and founded on extensive scientific research. After the results on November 14, and upon forming our government, we will enact a law within 20 days to guarantee one government job per family, which will be implemented within 20 months,” Yadav had previously stated.
