Jaipur, Feb 24 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party embodies the ethos of "Nation First," prioritizing the nation over party and individual interests.

Sharma made these remarks during the state-level workshop of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Training Campaign 2026 at the BJP State Office in Jaipur.

The Chief Minister emphasized that training is an ongoing process within the BJP, serving as the bedrock of its ideological strength. The party, unified by a singular ideology, has expanded into a massive banyan tree throughout the nation.

He highlighted that a sense of responsibility among party members fosters personal growth, which is essential for nation-building.

Reflecting on the party's ideological foundation, he noted that the Bharatiya Jana Sangh was established on October 21, 1951, under Shyama Prasad Mukherjee's leadership, with the principle of 'nation first.'

“This ideology, shaped by the philosophies of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, has evolved over time, leading to the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party in 1980 after the Emergency. Today, the BJP is recognized as the world’s largest political party,” he remarked.

He encouraged party workers to connect with every individual in society, stressing that a sense of duty outweighs rights. The BJP focuses on social responsibility alongside its political actions, and the Chief Minister assured that both the central and state governments will consistently act in the public's best interest.

BJP State President Madan Rathore remarked that the training's goal is to promote active involvement from every worker in the nation’s comprehensive development.

Training initiatives will be implemented in stages, ranging from the booth level to the national level, ensuring that officials transmit the knowledge gained to the district, division, and booth levels.

National Coordinator of the campaign and Khajuraho MP Vishnu Dutt Sharma announced that a nationwide training campaign will take place from March 7 to April 15.

Following the state-level workshop, events will be organized at the district, division, and booth levels. Training sessions will also target fronts, cells, departments, public representatives, media, and social media teams.

He added that the campaign's aim is to fortify ideological commitment, instill principled work ethics, impart knowledge about the party’s history and development, cultivate skilled workers, and raise awareness of national challenges and narratives.

Attendees at the workshop included MLA Ajay Mahawar, State General Secretary Mithilesh Gautam, State Coordinator of the campaign Santosh Ahlawat, among other party officials.
