Kolkata, Oct 16 (NationPress) Another individual has been detained in relation to the assault on BJP MP Khagen Murmu and party MLA Shankar Ghosh in Nagrakata, located in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district.

As per police reports, a search operation took place in the Nagrakata region on Wednesday night, leading to the arrest of a suspect named Mannan Sarkar.
On Thursday, Jalpaiguri Additional Superintendent of Police Samir Ahmed confirmed, "A suspect linked to the incident was apprehended in Nagrakata last night. His identity is Mannan Sarkar.
