Bengaluru, July 7 (NationPress) Karnataka BJP President B. Y. Vijayendra asserted on Monday that the comments made by senior Congress figure Mani Shankar Aiyar during the Mysuru Literature Festival, where he described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the “worst-ever Prime Minister,” are merely a desperate attempt to gain attention by stirring controversy.
Vijayendra took to social media platform X to respond, stating, “Such unfounded and inaccurate claims are unbecoming of someone who has dedicated decades to public service.”
He added, “Instead of feeling outraged, I find Mr. Aiyar’s attempts to distort political reality amusing. To label Prime Minister Modi ji as the “worst-ever PM” is not only absurd but also disrespects the democratic judgment of millions of Indians who have consistently trusted his leadership, driven by his achievements, vision, and steadfast dedication to national progress.”
Vijayendra highlighted that under PM Modi’s guidance, India has embarked on a transformative path characterized by swift infrastructure development, digital innovation, effective welfare systems, and a dignified presence on the global stage.
He remarked, “Mr. Aiyar’s remarks reflect his personal grievances more than any substantial political critique. These elitist and politically irrelevant statements serve as a reminder of why the populace of India continues to turn away from the Congress party, election after election.”
Furthermore, he emphasized that PM Modi is not only the most favored Prime Minister in India’s history but also the most trusted leader, both domestically and internationally.
