Bengaluru, May 6 (NationPress) Karnataka BJP President and MLA B.Y. Vijayendra expressed his faith on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take decisive measures against the 'evil forces' responsible for the terrorist assault in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

While addressing the media at the state BJP office, Jagannath Bhavan in Bengaluru, he responded to a question regarding the mock drills occurring nationwide.

He noted that the Pahalgam attack is a topic of discussion not just in India but globally.

'In the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident, Pakistan has found itself increasingly isolated,' he pointed out.

'There is a prevalent expectation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take a decisive stand and initiate robust actions against the malevolent forces behind the Pahalgam tragedy. The public is rallying behind the Prime Minister's decisions,' Vijayendra stated.

In response to another inquiry, the State BJP President mentioned that since the Congress government led by Siddaramaiah assumed power, there has been evident appeasement of minorities in some instances, while Hindus have faced disrespect and Hindu activists are under continuous oppression.

Vijayendra urged the Congress-led state government to take necessary actions to restore peace in Mangaluru, which has seen mob lynching incidents, the murder of a Hindu activist, and multiple stabbing cases.

He criticized the alarming situation where murders are occurring in broad daylight across the state, indicating that Karnataka has effectively transformed into a battleground.

'Killings have become a common occurrence. The Congress government is demoralizing the police force by permitting incidents like the Mysuru episode, where mobs attacked police stations in various locations,' he alleged.

'Law and order in Karnataka has completely deteriorated. Ministers must cease inciting unrest,' he asserted.

In response to another question, Vijayendra announced that the 'Janakrosh Yatra' will resume on Wednesday in Kolar, continuing on May 9 in Tumakuru and Chitradurga, followed by events in Ballari and Hosapete.

The final rally is scheduled to take place in Hubballi on May 14.

He also mentioned that during the state-level Other Backward Class Morcha meeting on Tuesday, discussions were held to raise awareness among the populace regarding the positive intentions of Prime Minister Modi concerning the caste census, contrasting with the negative intentions of the CM Siddaramaiah-led Karnataka government.

The Congress-led Karnataka government is currently conducting a census of SCs to enable internal reservations.

Additionally, the Congress-led government is deliberating on the controversial caste census report conducted in the state.
