Bengaluru, April 23 (NationPress) The Karnataka BJP party on Wednesday held Pakistan accountable for the recent Pahalgam terror incident, asserting that the Central government is poised to respond decisively, given that India boasts one of the world's most formidable armed forces.
During a press briefing, a spokesperson stated, "Today is a tragic day for all of us. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took measures to revoke the special status of Jammu-Kashmir, opening doors for development. I visited that area two years ago, and local businesses were flourishing. Numerous Muslims expressed their satisfaction, stating they were earning Rs 10,000 daily. Yet, this heinous act by a Pakistan-sponsored terrorist group is utterly condemnable.
This tragedy resulted in the loss of 26 Hindu lives, with over 20 individuals injured. The entire nation stands in solidarity with the families of the victims.
Ashok accused terrorists of specifically targeting and murdering Hindus while sparing Muslims, aided by local sleeper cells.
He asserted that sleeper cells are operational in Karnataka and Bengaluru, with some even facilitating voter IDs for terrorists.
