During his address at the inauguration of the BJP State Executive held at Gayatri Grand, Palace Grounds in Bengaluru, Vijayendra remarked that the Congress is primarily surviving in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka, asserting that progress in Karnataka has stalled under the current administration.
He urged party members to stay alert regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls being undertaken by the Election Commission of India. He emphasized the necessity for transparency and accuracy in the electoral process and claimed that the Congress party is disseminating false information against initiatives aimed at reducing corruption and assisting the impoverished and marginalized.

He highlighted the proximity of the 2028 Assembly elections and called on party members to amplify their efforts to restore BJP governance in Karnataka. Vijayendra accused the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government of fostering an environment where violence against Hindu activists and members of Scheduled Castes has surged, pointing to incidents in Surathkal and Yellapur. He criticized the government for its failure to provide justice and compensation in cases, including the murder of a Dalit woman in Yellapur and a Dalit man in Koppal district.

He also mentioned the tragic case of a 10-year-old girl from a balloon vendor's family who was raped and murdered during the Dasara festivities in the Chief Minister’s home district, condemning the government's management of law and order.
As the opposition, he stated that the BJP has consistently highlighted the alleged failures and inadequacies of the state government. With numerous elections on the horizon, including Gram Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, and Zilla Panchayat polls, he implored party workers to reinforce organizational strength and secure electoral victories for the party.
Vijayendra accused the Siddaramaiah government, which he claims ascended to power under the banner of AHINDA, of engaging in appeasement politics and neglecting the needs of backward communities, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes.
