New Delhi, July 2 (NationPress) Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia expressed his strong belief in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA coalition reclaiming power in Bihar, a state preparing for elections later this year.
The Union Minister, during a special discussion with IANS, highlighted the BJP’s favorable electoral outlook in Bihar while firmly countering Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s accusations regarding a decade of the Digital India initiative.
Just a day prior, Kharge criticized the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led administration for alleged 'unmet promises and false claims' related to the Digital India mission, to which Scindia responded emphatically with data and insights.
Scindia, reflecting on the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections, reiterated his confidence that the BJP-led NDA will emerge victorious once again.
“The BJP and its allies are united; we are prepared to contest the elections as one and win decisively,” Scindia asserted to IANS.
He added that the development and transformation of Bihar rank high among the BJP’s priority initiatives, promising that the next NDA administration will fulfill all developmental commitments.
Stressing that progress and development are central to the BJP governance model, the Union Minister indicated that Prime Minister Modi has demonstrated this through effective governance over the past eleven years, which will also be a key focus for Bihar.
“As India shines on the global stage, Bihar too will embark on a similar path of progress,” he proclaimed.
He emphasized that the nation stands on the brink of transformation, noting India’s rapid growth across various economic metrics, and stated that Bihar is equally poised and eager for this change.
Such progress, he underscored, is attainable only under a BJP-led government.
Importantly, Bihar is gearing up for Assembly elections later this year, with the political arena heating up as parties vie for votes with a plethora of election promises. The BJP-led NDA coalition and Mahagathbandhan are the two primary contenders in the upcoming elections.
