Bhopal, March 21 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Friday that the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh is poised to gain recognition for its industrial development.
His statements came during the 'bhoomi-poojan' ceremony for a modern mega unit valued at Rs 1,000 crore in the Malanpur Industrial Area of Bhind district.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the firm is investing approximately Rs. 1,000 crore to establish this large-scale unit in Malanpur.
He termed this initiative as a historic milestone for the state’s industrial landscape, which will foster employment, promote agro-based industries, and contribute to a greener environment. The contribution of Elixir Industries Private Limited will mark a significant advancement in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial journey,” Yadav stated.
Additionally, bhoomi-poojan was performed for seven units at the Gwalior Readymade Garment Park and eleven units in the industrial area of Piparseva, located in Morena district.
In his address to the audience, CM Yadav emphasized: “Chambal is now acknowledged for its development. Numerous industrial units have been set up in the region due to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the dedication of the state government.”
Mohan Yadav reaffirmed the government's resolve towards industrial development in the state.
He mentioned that through Investors' Summits and Regional Industry Conclaves, they have attracted investors from both national and international spheres, resulting in positive outcomes.
“A multitude of industrial units are being established in the Gwalior-Chambal division, enhancing employment opportunities for the youth of the region,” the Chief Minister noted.
He also pointed out that alongside industrial expansion, the government is implementing policies to benefit farmers.
The Chambal-Kalisindh-Parvati (PKC) Link Project is set to bring prosperity to the area, with Chambal reaping the most substantial benefits.
