Bhiwani, Jan 22 (NationPress) Veteran Haryana leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kiran Choudhry continued her fierce criticism of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his son, Deepender Hooda, during her visit to Bhiwani on Wednesday. She accused the father-son duo of betraying the people of Haryana, asserting that the public has already responded to them decisively.
Having transitioned to the BJP after two decades with the Congress, Choudhry cited her differences with the Hoodas as a significant reason for her departure.
Addressing the media after engaging with public grievances, she condemned not only the Hoodas but also the Congress and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Regarding the upcoming Delhi elections, Choudhry stated, “The Congress has lost its relevance in Delhi, similar to its situation in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Voters in Delhi have given Kejriwal a decade to address critical issues, yet problems like filth and mismanagement remain unresolved.”
“Delhi represents a microcosm of India, and Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a developed nation necessitates a double-engine government. The residents of Delhi will opt for the BJP for authentic development,” she added.
When asked about the state of Haryana's Congress, Choudhry did not hold back. She accused Bhupinder and Deepender Hooda of creating chaos in the state and breaking the trust of the populace, asserting, “The public’s reaction to them is clear in the political arena.”
On the allegations of rape against Haryana BJP President Mohanlal Badoli, Choudhry offered him her support, emphasizing that investigations are ongoing. She also called for a comprehensive investigation into the case involving Congress MLA Rajbir Fartia, who is implicated in the suicide of a Scheduled Caste girl in Loharu.
Addressing farmer concerns, Choudhry commended the Haryana government for ensuring Minimum Support Price (MSP) on all crops, attributing the benefits to the BJP’s policies. She advised that farmers in Punjab should demand similar MSP assurances from their government as those provided in Haryana.
Regarding farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who has been on a hunger strike for two months, Choudhry confirmed that Dallewal has agreed to medical treatment and highlighted that farmers in Haryana are content with the government’s initiatives.
