New Delhi, Nov 16 (NationPress) The BJP has fiercely criticized the patriarchal, anti-woman, and male-dominated mentality inherent in the family of RJD President and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
BJP leader Amit Malviya referenced the recent public statements made by Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter, Rohini Acharya, questioning whether such a powerful political family is fit to govern Bihar.
“Rohini Acharya selflessly donated her kidney to her father, Lalu Prasad, prioritizing his life over her own. However, Lalu has shown greater regard for his son Tejashwi than for the dignity of his daughter,” Malviya remarked in a post on X.
He further commented, “Today, Rohini Acharya has openly declared that she faced physical abuse in her family. This reveals the true nature of the patriarchal, anti-woman, and male-dominated mentality of the Lalu family. Expecting them to show respect for women is utterly misplaced.”
Malviya also criticized the ongoing discord within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress following their significant defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, labeling the alliance as opportunistic.
“The Mahagathbandhan was never grounded in principles — it was merely an opportunistic coalition fueled by corruption and self-interest. The people of Bihar have seen through it and have opted for stability, development, and integrity by voting for the NDA,” he asserted.
“Tensions are escalating within the RJD-Congress alliance in the wake of their humiliating loss. Rohini Acharya has declared her exit from politics, distancing herself from her family and blaming Sanjay Yadav, a close aide to Tejashwi Yadav, for her decision,” Malviya stated.
“Additionally, senior Congress figure Shakeel Ahmad has accused Krishna Allavaru, Rahul Gandhi’s representative in Bihar, of undermining senior leaders and engaging in monetary transactions for Congress tickets. These accusations are not novel — similar claims arose during ticket distribution previously,” the BJP leader concluded.
