Patna, Jan 25 (NationPress) Rohini Acharya, the daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, made a significant statement on Sunday, sharply criticizing the current leadership of the Rashtriya Janata Dal. She described the party's situation as “dire” and “worrisome”, asserting that accountability is essential for those in charge. Her comments came shortly before the RJD's National Executive meeting scheduled for later that day.

In a heartfelt and impactful message on X, Rohini Acharya indicated that genuine representatives of “Laluvad” would raise concerns about the party's condition and challenge those accountable, regardless of potential repercussions.

“Anyone who truly represents Laluvad in its essence—those who have selflessly fought for the party founded by Lalu Ji to advocate for marginalized communities—will inevitably demand answers from those responsible for the party's current distressing state. Such individuals, who honor Lalu Ji’s unwavering commitment to socio-economic justice and are dedicated to preserving his legacy and principles, will not hesitate to voice their concerns,” she expressed.

Rohini claimed that the party's actual leadership has fallen into the hands of “infiltrators and conspirators”, allegedly sent by political rivals with the intention to dismantle Laluvad.

She urged party members and leaders who genuinely align with Lalu Prasad Yadav's vision to vocally oppose these harmful influences.

Describing the current atmosphere within the party as profoundly troubling, she stated, “The bitter, heartbreaking reality is that the true command of the party, known for championing the rights and entitlements of the people, is now held by infiltrators and conspirators sent by fascist adversaries, who aim to obliterate Laluvad; these individuals have seemingly succeeded in their malicious objectives.”

In her pointed remarks, Rohini criticized the leadership's approach, which many interpret as a veiled reference to Tejashwi Yadav, even though she did not explicitly name him. She urged those in leadership roles to reflect on their actions instead of evading inquiries or creating confusion.

She cautioned that ongoing silence from leadership would only amplify accusations of collusion with those purportedly scheming against the party.

Rohini also highlighted that leaders and supporters advocating for Laluvad and the party's foundational beliefs are being treated disrespectfully, which contradicts the RJD's core principles.

“Those currently in leadership positions must confront their own errors rather than shun questions, evade accountability, spread confusion instead of providing clear and factual responses, and resort to inappropriate conduct and language towards those advocating for Laluvad and the party's ideals. If they remain silent, the allegations of complicity with adversaries against them will be inherently validated,” she added.

Rohini Acharya's statements have intensified the ongoing internal conflict within the RJD, arriving at a critical moment as top leaders convene for a significant organizational meeting.
